Using PiSuite:

• You can inform your users of the planned release well in advance.
  • In PiSuite, you can create a new alert informing the users about the planned release. The alert is made visible to all users and in all pages. It is of type “Prompt”, and will be automatically displayed when any page is visited. You can set the alert to start at any date before the release date, and to end immediately after the release. Any user who visits your web application during this period will be automatically shown the alert.
  • PiSuite keeps track of alert reads, and John can see how many users have read the alert.

• After the release is deployed, you can deliver the release notes to every user.
  • You can creates a News item in PiSuite that contains the release notes. You can set the release notes to become visible on the date of release.
  • Any user who visits your web application will be shown the News item with the release notes.
  • PiSuite keeps track of news item reads, and you can see which users have read the release notes.
